Game of Skills

Fx11 is considered a “Game of Skill.” A game of skill is one where the outcome is predominantly determined by a player's knowledge, experience, training, and attention, rather than by chance.

In online fantasy sports gaming, users build their teams using real-life players and are awarded points based on those players' real-world performances. Success depends on the user's strategic thinking and understanding of the sport.

Fx11 is fully legal and offers various services, Fun Features, Program(s), and Contest(s) related to:

Users create teams before a match starts, and the scoring is based on the real-life performances of the selected players. The user with the highest score wins. Since this process is based on skill, Fx11 operates legally and fairly under Indian law.

Alignment with Indian Laws

The game of skills, such as online fantasy sports, is legal in most Indian states under the Public Gambling Act, 1867 (PGA, 1867). This act prohibits public gambling and maintaining common gaming houses, but it excludes games of skill from its scope.

Since fantasy sports require skill and judgment, they are not considered gambling and are thus exempt from the provisions of the PGA.

In these states, due to the legal ambiguity or prohibitive regulations, Fx11 restricts access to paid contests but may still allow access to free features and content.
